I was at my local Dick's Sporting goods today and notice a Barnett crossbow hanging on the wall, It looked like a predator and the price tag said $499.99..in amazement I asked to see it, after closer inspection of the sale tag it said barnett penetrator, I asked the sales guy if someone messed up the tag and he said "No, this model is made for dick's sporting goods only" But he could tell me little about it.

I couldnt really find much information online about this model and was wondering if anyone out there has/had or shot this model and what can you tell me about it?

what the salesperson told you is accurate.....from what I've read...it's essentially the predator...only slightly different and available only at Dick's....if you;re in the market....(no offense to Dicks)...but I'd go to an archery shop that sells crossbows and check them out.....where do u live?

don't know about archery shops in PA...but you're not far from Sportsmens Center in Bordentown (609-298-5300) or Cheynne Mountain Outfitters (609 570-8430)...both are on rt 130....if you go north of trenton....there's a place called the Owls Nest on rt 519.....I think it's in Alpha....(908) 995-7903...I know the owner, Jim...good guy...will take good care of you....
