serving separation seems to be an issue with the Parkers...I have one, and have the same problem...that's one reason a Viper-X is going on after the season

viperX? From my understanding parker bows are great but that lack with strings and serving. Thats why when i had my buckbuster i had them change the strings with better strings and i picked my colors :) But now that i have that hurricane its strings are those redhots and i havent had a problem yet knock on wood ;smash;

how often you guys wax your servings!...i try and do it every 5 shots or so...my original string on my excalibur lasted about 125 shots or so...oh...one more question...do you think the string silencers are worth it??

Even with the Red Hot strings, the servings are not very good. They're simply not tight enough. The Viper-X strings are served under considerable pressure, making them tighter than factory string servings. I've not yet read a bad review of these strings, that's why they're going on the Tornado very soon. And, you can have your choice of colors, too.
